Slide the new boot over the vent, beneath the shingles and onto the roof. Protected it with roofing nails and substitute any shingles which have been destroyed across the vent boot and hand seal shingles with asphalt roof cement.This process applies for cracked shingles too, although you might not find the offending shingle right until a leak has a
